The Gordon Movie Theater Board of Directors is a group of volunteers working toward the renovation and re-opening of the Gordon Movie Theater for the good of the community. The board consists of:

Treasurer: Patty Faulk
Members: Rylan Fultz, Jeanette Graber, Mary Young, Shelly Beguin.

The Gordon Community Development Corporation regained control of the Gordon Movie Theater in the summer of 2013. A board has been formed to handle all of the details of the renovation, as well as to help raise funds. With the help of volunteers, the inside of the theater has been gutted, and mold has been removed. Donors have stepped forward to install a new sprinkler system and drop ceiling in the theater, but much is still needed to make the project a success.
On December 4, 2015, a new rubber roof was installed on the theater to prevent any future leaks in the building.
Movies have long been a part of Gordon's history. Silent films would be shown in the early 1900s at the community building with the accompaniment of a piano player.
